Our first stop today was Franciacorta where they produce the famous Franciacorta wines. These are some of the best sparkling wines in the world. Our walk through the region was very informative and relaxing. We then continued on to Lake Iseo. We stayed two nights at Hotel Rivalago right on the water. There were fewer people in this town due to the end of the Italian holiday season. On our second day we took a private boat to Peschiera Maraglio where I captured many very nice smiles.
