On our way to Chiang Mai we stopped at a Lotus plantation and learned about Lotus production and the byproducts that come from them. In Chiang Mai we visited the Elephant sanctuary, an optional tour to Doi Inthanon National Park, the Karen village, and we joined a local family in their home for a home hosted dinner. We had an excellent time in Chiang Mai.
