Dalat is prized by the Vietnamese for its mild climate. Many Vietnamese from Saigon come to Da Lat to spend their time off. The walkway around the lake was crowded with tourists. I joined two other travelers for a home hosted dinner at a couples home in the greater Da Lat area. We had a wonderful time. On an optional tour we visited the Montagnard Village of Buon Chuối:. The head of the village invited us into his home for a special greeting and weaving demonstration by his wife. Da Lat was a great place for people watching.
