Our walk through Xóm Giỏ Village was very heartbreaking. Most of the homes were underwater during the last typhoon flood three weeks ago. The brave residents were cleaning the mud from their homes and yards. Our scooter ride to the village was awesome. We went through the back alleys and received smiles from the local people. My walk along the ocean shoreline trail produced quite a few faces.
